Dangerous Driving Tickets
According to Section 2 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, dangerous driving is driving that falls far below the standard expected of a competent and careful driver. It would be obvious that driving in that way would be dangerous.
Some examples of dangerous driving:
Racing or driving too fast
Ignoring traffic lights
Overtaking dangerously
Driving when injured
Consequences you face are:
A fine of $405
3 demerit points
A conviction on your driving record for 3 years (POINTS WILL STAY FOR 2 YEARS)
